The quiet of the predawn is broken only by the swoosh of wings and the call of birds hunting for breakfast in formation just above the water's surface.
The birds soar and boats enter the water courses adding their sounds together.
The sun rises in the sky now and life begins to quicken it's pace a bit.
Man began his course before the sun was above the horizon so that they can meet in the water...the boat and the light.
The Sunrise kisses the boat with a wish of blessing as the boat passes on it's way to a busy day of joy, with fishes to catch and stories to build one fishy phrase at a time.
Bending with the winds and prevailing in the face of years of trial because of being rooted and grounded.
Providing shade and rest for the weary.
Spreading welcoming branches to one and all.
Limbs reaching up as if to praise the Lord and laying down a shadow that is controlled by the light and moves with the light. The shadow does not control the light, it is the light which controls the shadow.
